Mission
The purpose of LEAPFEST is to promote the camaraderie and Esprit de Corps of the Airborne Soldier through International Competition. The competition is routinely attended by representatives from Allied Foreign Militaries, as well as from the US Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
LEAPFEST UPDATE

LEAPFEST 2025 will be the 40TH time that the event is conducted! Beginning in 1982, Leapfest has been a staple for the US and International Airborne community. It has been conducted nearly continuously by the Rhode Island National Guard, pausing only for unique circumstances (deployments, COVID, etc), and remains the marquis Airborne event for the National Guard Bureau and US Department of Defense.

SPECTATORS
Looking to watch the Jumpers Compete? The event is open to the public and spectators are welcome at the “Drop Zone” on LEAPFEST 2025 Competition Day (Saturday, August 2nd). The “Drop Zone” is located on Adams Farm in Exeter, RI and public parking is available at 300 Hog House Hill Rd. For more information, check out our FAQ page!
